Having got her start in the performing arts, Aurielle has a natural gift for storytelling and a unique artistic vision shaped by her artistic and eclectic upbringing. She’s been a part of choral groups who have sung at prestigious locations like the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC; studied under dance instructors who themselves performed with well-known companies like the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Martha Graham Dance Company, and the American Ballet Theater.
As a filmmaker, Aurielle Chelayne is known for crafting visually stunning, emotionally resonant, and raw narratives that explore identity, community, and the human experience. Her directorial debut, “Saving Savanna” is one such example of her desire to create stories that explore the human condition.
